Our inn has been part of the Town of Princeton since it was built in 1866.
It is a wonderful building which encompasses the whims of its short list of owners. First the Belmores, then the Mardaviches and the Butlers and recently us, Sandra Smith and Doug Clements.
Our accommodations include a selection of 8 bedrooms that are quaint, comfortable and clean. All the rooms have cable TV. Most of them sleep 2 guests. However we do have our crew’s quarters which has 3 single beds. The Inn also has a comfortable sitting room, a dinning room with a fireplace, a library, a large kitchen and a porch. The Bellmard Inn is located on four landscaped acres on Main Street in the small town of Princeton. Main Street is Route 1 and a very convenient place to stay on the way to Calais, Eastport, Canada or Houlton on up the state. We are a couple of minutes from two gas stations, a small market, a hardware store, a bank, a health clinic, small airport and post office as well as a public boat landing on Lewey Lake.
This lake then leads to Long Lake and Big Lake in one direction and the Grand Falls Flowage and St. Croix River the other. We have private off street parking and under cover parking for motorcycles.
